You're all I ever wanted, but you couldn't stay.
You're all I ever wanted, but you went away.
And when you're out of sight I get so scared that I'm not real.
If only I could make you see the love you've made me feel.
I can't believe that you'll come back to me.
And lonely emptiness is all I see.
I try in desperation to fill up my hopeless heart.
I act just like I'm crazy, Baby, now that we're apart.

You're all I ever wanted, but you played around.
I know you never wanted what you went and found.
But when you're out of sight, I get so scared that I'm not real.
If only you'd forgive me for the hurt I made you feel.
I think I know now, why you're on the move.
I guess you think you've something left to prove.
But what it is that hurts you, when you're running from yourself,
Just proves to me you love me more than anybody else.
