All I Want Is You Poem by Alto Lee Thomas, Jr.

All I Want Is You

Rating: 4.8

Thoughts of you fuel me;
Though we spend most days apart.
In absentia, you still headline my dreams;
All I want is you

Pouting lips -flash plump and flexed -
Married to that quicksand smile;
That took me captive since we met.
All I want is you

When my sanity swirls unfocused,
A melee in my mind,
Squeeze me way too tight,
All I want is you

Be my warming late-day sun,
My orange blossom honey
Share the purpose of my orbit,
All I want is you

Dancing slowly in my arms
A prelude, … to …
Those things we do,
All I want is you

You sculpt my destiny;
But more importantly …,
You are my gravity,
All I want is you
