He is handsome and tall
No doubt any girl would fall
He is also very strong
And rarely did any wrong

So betty really loved him
And kept him in her dream
She would always pray
God make him come my way

Once in a while
She would show a smile
Then she would hide and cry
Because he never noticed her try



Pain filled her heart
She has tried her part
But it was like he was blind
He never cared about her mind

All that betty ever knew
Was that is name was Matthew
It was just on his birthday
He said all he had to say
Of how his family let him away
He claims that was a bad day

Matthew used to be a brother
She never met due to murder
Said her mum the liar
Her words were only as water
To water a heart on fire

Now she is scared to talk
Although now they walk
