All That Glistens Poem by Joeseph Belcher

All That Glistens

Rating: 5.0

All that glistens is not gold
but something more precious still
the love of God came in my heart
my Hungry soul to fill

I have walked that old beaten path
full of pain and strife
till the light of his grace shattered my Darkened clouds
and showed to me the Beauty in life

and now i walk a different path
were shadows never flow
and in the sunlight of God's love
I'm reaping better then I've sown

How blind I was back then
but know I've come to know
that in all life a beauty shines
and a love that will always glow

All that glistens is not Gold
but something more precious still
a love God put in every life
a love with which my heart he fills
