I've probably been searching around
here for a lifetime
and over again it appears I have to
fall for another's dime.
I'm yet to find a loving girl that isn't
someone else's lady
and this painful realization is really
driving me crazy.
Just when I try again to start
something worthwhile
only then do they turn their back and
say goodbye.
Why is it that I always end up being
hurt and lonely
each time I come across any girl that
tickles my fancy?
I'm yet to meet a girl that isn't seeing
another guy
and I don't know if they are saying
the truth or it's a lie.
I've probably been here, there and
around everywhere.
Isn't there always a special someone
for us somewhere?
Why can't I find a decent girl who
isn't into any love affair.
I don't think this is fair: why can't I
find a befitting pair?
Each time I get close to asking her
out, she uses the door
and again all of my lofty dreams
crashland to the floor.
Is it just me or perhaps it's my fate
to go through life forsaken?
Methinks all the good girls are all
spoken for and taken.
