All The Way - Poem by Dr. Adeyinka O. Laiyemo

To you I say top of the day
Since today is your birthday
What then can I do or say
Other than to thank Allah and pray
That better things, come our way Our love is like honey which does not decay
Like mountains which the wind blows not away
Like diamonds whose sparkle always stay
Like antiques whose worth increases everyday
Like rivers which flow night and day
And refreshing like the cool breeze of the bay When things seem to be in disarray
My fears you always allay
Comforting words you always say
And you support without delay
Rashidat, you make my day, everyday.
