All We Have Poem by Natasha Dowdy

All We Have

Everything I've written thus far appears childish and undignified of an emotion that alludes true description.
Surely there is some word written in some, deep, dark forgotten cavern that is more; Than love.
It must be beautiful, and contain all of the letters with twists and turns.
A delicate word that brings the essence of passion and desire.
One that has no hard endings and can portray the deepest depths of the soul.
A word that sings from lips with grace and ease, breathy and yearning.

But sadly we have only 'Love'.
