Darkness
Is all that I know
Loving a lie
Why?

My whole life I’ve been scarred
There laughter
Mocking words
Slowly I die

Reaching for a dream
Biting of a scream
Nightmares consuming my heart
Hope, a bullet ripping me apart

Did I choose this?
Did I ask to be me?
Am I the Creator?
Who decides how we are made?

Where are you
My love
My world
My dream

No happiness for me
An outcast of humanity
Simply because
I desire to be….me

Running naked
Blood running down my spine
Slowly they dine
My blood in their mouths, acrid wine
