Alms For Peace - Poem by Princess Kathleene Gabunales

hungry for love
hungry for attention
don't loose sight
do you know how to fight
you're taking it back
no more time
get down
get down
ground covered with dust-oil-blood
bombs yet to explode
broken windows above and below
hide by your camouflage
footsteps approaching
surrounded with metals and pieces of bullets
throw upon as far
there are two ways
use your eyes
never look behind
no not that kind of stare
i know when you're mad
forget your name
your state, your rank
they don't mind
it's like a wind
it kills me at night
when coldness strikes
thirst for peace
thirst for happiness
going in circle
like running around
crakers, talkers, killers
they all come together
