Alone Poem by Victoria Cornut

Alone

Sometimes I feel like I don’t a friend
Like I’m all alone in my little world
You say you care
But it’s hard for me to see
It’s hard when you feel like a little girl
I know I’ve done wrong
When have I done right?
This feeling in my heart makes it hard to survive the night
Who can say the same?
Who has felt that pain?
Raise your hands if you’ve ever felt useless
Raise them if you’ve ever felt wrong
Raise them if you knew you were stupid
Raise them if you didn’t last for long.
Now listen,
It doesn’t have to be that way
You can have another chance
You can seize your day
It’s not very hard
To do things right
To leave the dark
Step to the light

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Have you ever felt useless? Well, I'm not feeling very useful. I don't care if it's bad but I'd like tips on this poem.
