Alone Poem by Qwerty Poems

Alone

I don't like being alone.
I don't like being unknown.
I don't like not having a home.
I don't like being a thing humans will not condone.

I'm a human too, don't you know?
I'm slowly dying on the side of the road.
Where is God when I need him most?
Has He too left me all alone?

I went to the church looking for hope.
I was turned away so I worshiped Him all alone.
I thought God's house was closed to no one, but apparently this isn't so.
I then asked Him for the things I need most.
He answered my prayers, a man gave me a new set of clothes.

I cried, no one has been so nice to me before
If it weren't for him I would have lost all hope.
I must go now for it is getting cold
I need to find a warm place to lie my head in the snow
I sure do hope I'm not all alone
I want someone to talk to,
I have trouble sleeping in the cold.
