Alone

Have you ever stood in the corner,
or cried instead of playing

have you ever been pushed down
instead of being helped up

have you ever had a best friend
that never stood up for you

have you always had a friend beside you

I know what it's like to be alone,
I know what it's like to cry,
I know what it's like to stand up for myself,
I know i just have to try,
I know being pushed down
is just another reason to stand up,
I know I won't always have friends,
I know I just have to be tough

I know I'm not alone in this world,
you have problems to,
I know I'm not alone in this world,
all I need to say is ' I love you'
