Alone - Poem by Paul Prescott

To stand, upon and wait,
For that kiss from him,
Waiting here on my own,
I guess I’ll never know

You said you’d be here,
But now it’s getting dark,
Alone and scared in fear,
I guess I’ll never know

Deep down inside of me, I think,
That standing just here,
Makes my life sad in show,
Deep down I guess I’ll never know

Beautiful, that's all I can say. Normally I would write more, but I can't wait to read your other work. :) I've posted a few poems myself, check them out! I would like to heard your comments. Kind regards, Magali (Report) Reply
