One Christmas was so much like another, in those years around the sea-town corner now and out of all sound except the distant speaking of the voices I sometimes hear a moment before sleep, that I can never remember whether it snowed for six days and six nights when I was twelve or whether it snowed for twelve days and twelve nights when I was six.
The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers:
Little we see in Nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!
Sometimes I can almost see, around our heads,
Like gnats around a streetlight in summer,
The children we could have,
The glimmer of them.
I saw a little elephant standing in my garden,
I said 'You don't belong in here', he said 'I beg you pardon?',
I said 'This place is England, what are you doing here?',
He said 'Ah, then I must be lost' and then 'Oh dear, oh dear'.
(or Blues for a Mississippi Black Boy)
I was born in Mississippi;
I walked barefooted thru the mud.
I'm going out to clean the pasture spring;
I'll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I shan't be gone long. -- You come too.
The trees along this city street,
Save for the traffic and the trains,
Would make a sound as thin and sweet
As trees in country lanes.
The deep parts of my life pour onward,
as if the river shores were opening out.
It seems that things are more like me now,
That I can see farther into paintings.
By the road to the contagious hospital
under the surge of the blue
mottled clouds driven from the
northeast -- a cold wind. Beyond, the
Trapped within damaged brain
Body twisted, limbs trembling
Sitting in hospital yard
Slowly the west reaches for clothes of new colors
which it passes to a row of ancient trees.
You look, and soon these two worlds both leave you
one part climbs toward heaven, one sinks to earth.

DOES the road wind uphill all the way?
Yes, to the very end.
Will the day's journey take the whole long day?
From morn to night, my friend.
I see them standing at the formal gates of their colleges,
I see my father strolling out
under the ochre sandstone arch, the
red tiles glinting like bent
Tell me, is the rose naked
Or is that her only dress?
In the silence of the night Death descended from God toward the earth. He hovered above a city and pierced the dwellings with his eyes. He say the spirits floating on wings of dreams, and the people who were surrendered to the Slumber.
When the moon fell below the horizon and the city became black, Death walked silently among the houses - careful to touch nothing - until he reached a palace. He entered through the bolted gates undisturbed, and stood by the rich man's bed; and as Death touched his forehead, the sleeper's eyes opened, showing great fright.
I have pointed out the yelling pack,
The hare leap to the wood,
And when I pass a compliment
Rejoice as lover should
I swear by the ferryman's pole, my soul, the tale I tell is true
And if you have a soul, I pray, the same won't come to you, Boys
The same won't come to you
Courage is a beautiful song,
Sung in the night,
Courage is the tune standing strong.
Feeling the fire burn in my almond brown eyes i look to the light within and find the answers inside, beating within me to the tune of my heart, whispering softly of secret dreams and fiery passions, as i dance hypnotically to the sound of what's profound within the depths of my soul, that i may within hold and always know the light of truths illumination which gives me a sensation of elation in the finding of revelation within the understanding of realization of my inner contemplations, untill through not knowing it is revealed and through listening and understanding the inner knowing that is within sealed, that the way before me be shown, the path before my wake revealed, as i live ever in the now, as the presence unfolds, i am bold within the centerfold within which i consist, in my i am i remain and persist, and always in this l receive, i am the stillness within in, my heart i believe, that i am all within my mind. As the fire burns in my eyes, stoked by highers voice and fueled by the warmth of my soul, i strive forward into the destiny that awaits, head held high, eyes on higher, the way lit before my inner fire, that burns as a candle before my wake, lighting the way, burning in my heart, chasing the shadows through the dark, as it guides me through the night, into the light, ever am i the calm of the storm within the center of my i am, as i continue to be who i am, follow my heart and be strong and have love faith and strength. Striving to be the best i can be, aligning with the highest part of me, that i may collaborate with and align with my highest aspirations as i exceed my highest expectations, as i aspire to and i am inspired to be great in life, to pass the test of fate and succeed in life, standing strong, standing firm, standing tall, i cannot fail, i fight the good fight and i will prevail, as my candle burns through the dark and lights the way, and i am guided by the divine with each step i take, and as i only leave warm hearts and smiles in my wake, i know that heaven watches over me for my sake, and i am elated and sated, by the love i feel, so palpable so powerful, so very real, that burns in my heart like the flame that ever burns with golden light in the heart that burns ever with golden flames, in the center of which lies gods might, that stokes the fire that burns in my eyes making clear to my sight, that which truly matters and that which is most important as i live my life and play my part, ever comforted by the treasures in my heart, blessed to be who i am, and live a life that is truly blessed, with beauty, with love, with the many secrets i adore, the treasures of a life time, which in my heart i horde, as i walk tall, richer than a king on his throne through my spirit and in my blood and bones, as i live my life as i strive to reach, in my life and in heaven, the highest peak, to which i climb to the top with every step i take, reach for the summit with every move i make, that as i walk step by step on the path that ascends, i may reach my lord at the very end.

Stand by me my darling, stand by me, and you will see life shine through your eyes, you'll see while traveling by me, as the golden girl I say stand by me on this day, never with you be let away, sit still and listen to my heart that beats strong for you, standing by me standing by you, forever will I do it to, life for us is brand new, know that the shadows can't reach our heavenly light, every way you woe me is my smitten tasks to always have, your my one and only, your strawberry scent I breath in like a deadly addiction, I will stand by you, can I have the same in return? I can see your smile right in me, your style is just right for me, stand by me as I will you, I will get you in the end, we I knew when? I stopped looking up at him standing so tall
Knowledge, the giant tree
The shapeless mighty
None can see,
None can cut
It was quarter past five,
that time of day,
when I went in woods to play.
With the brisk breeze, flew my cape
