you tell me i did this and that wrong
and because of it im no longer strong

i don't hold my head to the sky
i'm always questioning why why why

i tried to be the best i could for you
but i guess our love isnt that true

for if it was you would be here still
instead of leaving me here lonely and ill

i want you here holding me tight
and reassuring me our love is alright

i want to be whole and back on track
although im here feeling under attack

i did what i could the only way that i know
and obviously thats why you had to go.
