Alone In A World



Alone an urchin wonders the streets
fighting the cold
waiting for the spring
hoping for some shelter
food and water
but sadly she walks alone
as people shun and push her away
there is no place for her
so she lay down in the snow and waited for death
hoping it would end quickly
