Alone Together Poem by mohammad ahmadizadeh

Alone Together

Deserts are immense
Swallowing alone nights and days
Tying together failures and lost ways

Individual caravans travel alone
Each one with three camels roped in a line
Caravans are too much and cameleer only one

Come nearby me in our desert
Let our camels walk in a way to assert
Come to be alone together walking to exert

Come to put up with whipping of cameleer
Let time lead us in loneliness' desert together
Knot your childhood, youth, senility to mine tighter
