Alpha And Omega Poem by Shadow Girl

Alpha And Omega

When the great eagle soars
And the mighty bear roars,
The dragon awakes from her sleep.

When the Serpent's released
And the Lion's reign ceased,
The old whales retreat to the deep.

When the ground starts to quake
And the oceans do shake,
Then the full moon eclipses the sun.

Clouds growl with their thunder
The winds charge and blunder,
And the stars from the heavens will run.

And the Earths blood will flow
As its heart beat does slow,
From betrayal of mankinds hands.

Then Gaia slips away
Into death and decay,
Through the hourglass the last of the sands.

When the darkness of day
Hides the seasons away,
You will know that HE finally came.

But your fear of the night
Is to trust not the light,
So hide not your faces in shame.

For your debt has been paid
By the ONE was betrayed,
And you face not the end but a new.

So thou shall not cry
Yet ask yourself why,
This gift has been given to you.

You will see the new day
As the darkness gives way,
A safe haven, on earth, will appear.

But before that eve dawns
Pick out all your thorns,
And let all your hate disappear.

Because when all this is done
Thy new kingdom shall come,
And your soul shall hold; whole, pure and clear.
