Alter Ego (Another I) Poem by Hafsa Mohammed

Alter Ego (Another I)

A little It, lives within, with passion so bright
A state of dream to relive during the pulchritude of the night

So fierce and mighty it purr's and rises
Of no use, I declare to such splendid prizes

Half impaired with nameless grace
With nothing to do but peregrinate, at all times It shows on the face

Cafuné, sending chills down me spine
Liberosis I cry if only you would mind

Carpe noctem, I try to seize the night
For it's like no other, I must fight

Solivagant, alone I wander
And listen to the cry, of the so called anger

A state of mind, greater than comprehension
Another I, yet stuck in my conscious and now I wait with bitter anticipation.
