Always Alone Poem by Louie Thompson

Always Alone

You were always there
in good times and bad
through the happy times
and always the sad

Until one day
you weren't there anymore
and when i turned around
you were walking out the door

Trapped in a world
that wasn't mine
You left me
with nowhere to hide.

I was so alone
I didn't know what to do
Leaving my like this
was nothing like you

Wanting to break out
of my solitary place
was only possible for me
when i saw your face

To be with you
again in your arms
Was the only place i felt safe
and where i never had alarm.
