I tried so hard to be what you wanted
and I soon realized that what you wanted was me
and now that I am different
and thigs are not the same
I just want you to know
that its for you that I changed
I wear a different expression now
and I never thought I would try
to slice my skin open
with the sharp part of the knife
but its because I thought you did
that I tried harder
its because of you I changed
possibly for the better
so, all I have to add in now
is that its thanks to you
that I realized changing for you
was the worst thing I could ever do
