Always Here Poem by Bobby Pask

Always Here

Without you here
I can’t find my way
When near
I’m okay

I don’t know what to do
At all
Without you
So please call

Without you near
I don’t feel tall
I won’t ever peer
At the game of football

I miss
Your lush hair
Your sweet kiss
And how you care

I know I stare
You’re just so good looking
If you care
I’ll stop staring

If you need room
I’ll give you anything
So you’ll have freedom
I’ll give you my rhyming

If you want me buff
I will become
I still won’t be rough
Time, it’ll take some

Tell me what you “need”
And you’ll get
Whether a reed
Or a net

If you want a back rub
To feel better
I’ll leave the club
So I won’t be an upsetter

If you’ll call
It may seem un-cool
I’ll be in the hall
I need you!
