Shrouded in shadows but what can be done
My love for you has now begun a war
Stuck in battles that will never be won
Fighting strongly now holding shield and sword
Pounding the wall waiting for it to fall
Strong it stands mocking the tears in mine eyes
I cry your name and pray you hear my call
Telling myself they speak only lies
I wish you had known how I needed you
You weren’t there for me when I had been hurt
I have lost you and now portray a fool
I tried to show you but I’m of no worth
I am sorry for the pain that I cause
I wish that I could put this hurt on pause
