Take Me Away - Poem by Silent Death

Take me away from here
Help me escape my fears
I’m dying inside
I’m failing to hide
My life is all wrong
And I wish I were gone
Gone away from here
Far away nowhere near
I have tried my best
But now I must rest
I swallow my pride
Knowing I had tried
But it’s never enough
I know what I have to do
And stopping me will not help you
This is my journey alone
I will let you know when I come home
You wish you had known
But now I am gone
Just give me my space
That’s all that I need
I guess I’m just too hard to read

A very moving poem. I would not say you're hard to read. You sound very depressed, as if you might be contemplating suicide. I've suffered from depression and heartbreak myself. Suicide can seem very tempting but I hope you will get yourself some help. I know how hard it can be. Even if you're just fantasizing about suicide, you need to talk to someone. May I suggest that you share this poem with someone who cares about you very much and let him or her get you some help? Good luck. (Report) Reply
