Amalgamation Poem by Harlequin Rose

Amalgamation

To all the friends I've lost over the years...

I'm having one of those days
where I don't want to think about thinking
so quit interrupting my thoughts
with talks about
how you used to be my closest ally...

and yet I must give credit where credit is due
You proved more cunning and clever than I
the saddest ending to this tail is that
I can't hate you...although I have tried.

How empty of me to be so full of you...
