An Autumns Day Poem by Jacob Andrew Jarman

An Autumns Day

The wind settles
the pain fades
the dark brightens
my eyes open
alone i stand
in the eye of the storm

trees sway
the silence breaks
the noise awakes
echo's scream
the pain inside
a heart thats torn

smiles fall
whispers shout
the leaves crisp
the birds stare
the people fear
the people scare
nothing worse
than a woman scourn
