An Elegy To A Good Christian - Poem by Aldo Kraas

You are a good
Christian
I can see that
You come
Every sunday
Early in the Morning
For the morning
Service
In the house of God
You are a good
Christian
You have no anger
And no sorrow in your eyes
It is wonderful to see that
You are not wearing any disguise
And allowing your face to be shown

I've never understood the need for some to put on a false front. My motto is, Be who you are. Always! Those who like you will be liking you for you and those who don't aren't worth the time of day. (Report) Reply
