An Emo's Happy Ending Poem by Kimberly Wares

An Emo's Happy Ending

The sun shines bright
Birds fly in the wind
Waiting for the chance they might
Find themselves a friend

Tall and sturdy are the trees
Creating shade from the sun
Swaying softly in the breeze
Waithing for someone to come

Bees buzzing and birds singing
Kids laughing and playing
Couples danceing and swinging
While a sad emo boy is waighting

Waiting for someone to comfort him
Waiting for a friend
To come sit with him on the limb
Before the days end

He looks around for a friendly face
Only to be let down
'Cause no one in this big place
Will take away his frown

The little boy sits alone
Trying to muffle his cry
Wishing he was never born
When a sad emo girl walks by

She looks at him with curiosity
And walks to him with hope
She asks sim with sympathy
'Why do you mope? '

'I'm crying because I hate my life
Because nobody loves me'
'We're being stabbed by the same knife
You don't have to be so lonely'

Sadly saying as she sits on the ground
'I said 'I love you' to this guy
But he didn't and turned me down
Now I can't help but cry'

They sat together on the ground
Saing how much they hate life
When the girl looked down
And remembered about her knife

She pulled it out of her pocket
And toyed with it for w while
Then ripped off her heart-shaped locket
And dropped it with a smile

The boy looked at her
Wondering what she was thinking about
Then smiled back at her
When he figured it out

They took the knife
And each stabbed their heart
And took their life
So from the pain they can finally depart

Their worlds were very lonely
Neither had someone to adore
But each had finally found somebody
That made their souls soar
