Feelings too deep to keep suppressed
Anger always an unwanted guest
Anxiety
Stands by me

Surprise always makes its rounds
Love never lets me down

And with happiness I always reflect
At times depression intercepts
Empathy always stays connected
Still with hope I find myself contented

But Poetry
Takes note of me

There are some things that I can't say
And emotions I cannot simply hand off
And at some point everyday
I face an emotional standoff
