An Empty Picture Of Colorful Memories Poem by Rijad Islamovic

An Empty Picture Of Colorful Memories

Rating: 5.0

I've seen the skies crack open
Seen it's blood falling on my face
Blurring the contours, blurring the faith
That I have kept to save myself

It all leaks down my stare
I'm counting the drops, counting the pains
And a tired breath filled with rage
Exhausts the last bit of my soul

The lack of conscience redemptions these days
'Cause I don't seem to know where sanity awaits
Although the scenery is running out of color
I seem to find the stripes to paint a life

A life in black and white
A life in contrast
An empty picture
Of colorful memories

Why are you talking like that? It's creepy when it's coming from you.
