An Empty Place Poem by Eleanor ...

An Empty Place

Rating: 3.0

For quite a time
This world has been
an empty place
To me.
I have not seen your face
But thought that you exist
Prevents from crumbling.

For quite a time
I have not seen a sense
in my existing
Except that one –
Intangible, unreal,
And yet persisting.

Where are you, friend?
Where are you, someone in the dark,
the hiding one, the misty?
I stretch my hand.
You take it.
You are not alone.
And let us stop existing.
