Small is the world to fully live our love,
My heart still has one million poems to write.
A thousand years won't ever be enough
To describe the wonder of your love's light.
Short are the days to satisfy my soul,
Of your voice, your songs, and tenderness.
Eternal is the soul, free and whole—
A child of the universe, vast and boundless.
But our hearts' roots are deeply entwined,
Like those of a thousand-year-old oak tree.
To my joy, we're endlessly confined,
The halves of one soul, her polarity.
Love carries on through lifetimes and beyond;
The power of love prevails—an endless bond.
