An Entity That Can't Survive Without Identity Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

An Entity That Can't Survive Without Identity

An entity that can't survive without identity
Is no other than human himself
Doesn't Sound obvious
But it turned to be
Man made
Reality.
Almost all living creatures of the world
Need no any identity for existence.
Inherited features are enough
For their survival
A bird is born knowing how to fly
A fish is born knowing how to swim
No matter whether they are herbivorous
Or carnivorous, they can survive
Without any acquired knowledge
Like human beings.
Man has to gain extra knowledge
For developing his special skills
To ensure his aesthetic identity
Without which his enitity
Does carry no meaning.
The intelligence that he has acquired
Enforces him to differentiate between
Poor and rich, powerful and weak.
You can't observe such an inequality
In animal Kingdom.
Man has, no doubt, misused
His knowledge for personal benefits
Through exploitation of his own species.
It is why, someone rules and occupies
Lion's share in natural resources
While others die of hunger.
The poor has no any identity
His existence in this world, is
Always threatened.
Human can't survive here
Without his special identity
Which he tries to aquire through
Optimum use of his consciousness
In gaining knowledge.
Let expect him to apply it in favour of
Mankind rather than personal gain.
