An Iguana Haiku Poem by Zantippy Skiphop

An Iguana Haiku

Rating: 3.5

Swim through endless blue
Go to sleep with salty lips
Live in ecstasy.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this as part of an haiku collection that Cousteau Divers was making by way of a poetry contest. It was part of a celebration honoring the 101st anniversary of Jacques-Yves Cousteau and the launch of Cousteau Divers. The winning poem by Stephen James Matadobra was engraved on a memorial stone and taken to the sea floor of the Mediterranean by Pierre-Yves Cousteau. Cousteau Divers made the collection into their Haiku book, which I think is an ebook. The photos in the book are gorgeous!

I wrote my haiku under the name Denise Hemphill
