An Illusion Poem by Shayne De Vera

An Illusion

Rating: 1.0

In her world the sun never rise
A lonely flower that never dies
All that she seek is appreciation
Of her beauty and creation

She was brought in this world from a beautiful mistake
Like a water flowing in a magnificent lake
The rain never end and never stops
Still keep on counting every single drop

Like a rotten log what a lonely ending
Maybe this is life it means pretending
She never gave up of waiting for the right time
But she never saw what's infront of her every time

She has a friend Yes! she has
A lovely tree that covers her up
That keeps her from from falling apart
She was a masterpiece, an illusion, an art!
