An Oath Poem by Gautam Sen

An Oath

Rating: 5.0

A great delight of warm recognition
As you offered me a wide openness,
My worn out soul found an invitation
To regain all my lost out happiness.

As the morning sun arrives – fresh n bright,
Birds chirping all around their welcome tunes –
As the earth gets bliss to an immense height
I too danced with thee, made my glee commune.

You filled my heart’s nest with your tender touch,
Mended my mind with your spontaneous love,
I knew I love you, but you loved me much.
Now on I swear that we’ll be hands in gloves.
