You are a lightning
Of image
My eyes hook you,
You are a flash
Of a magnificent thought
My mind captures you,
You are a flood
Of nectarine feelings
My heart harbours you,
You are an illumination
Of vision
My soul embraces you,
You are my Muse
Of beauty, supreme, celestial
My whole being absorbs you,
Your wonderous graces
Overwhelming me,
Your serene smiles
Echoing myriad melodies
In my ears;
Ah! My sweetheart,
I promise you
All your marvellous beauties,
All your splendid, enchanting graces
I celebrate in my poems
And make an offering for you,
The Deity of my Love's inner shrine.
