An Ordinary Girl Poem by Malaika Bano

An Ordinary Girl

In the quiet of the library, she found solace among the pages of forgotten stories
Like an escape from fancy faces
Into the depth of ordinary places
The places of her heart, mind and soul
The places of pure fantasies
Nothing less and nothing more
As an attempt to avoid the worldly roars
