An Uninviting Proposal Poem by Shirsak Ghosh

An Uninviting Proposal

Don't get tormented by the phantom of guilts,
Cry to your heart's content and feel no shame;
Kiss the shadow of doubts with open arms
So the lips get petrified by the terror of pessimism;
Purify the stagnant garbage of dreams
With meticulous care and excessive precautions-
Magnify thus, the pristine soul with uproarious laughter.
Let your eyes sparkle with vivacity and gratitude.
Why are you shaken with trepidation?
What must happen must happen!
But promise to make your own decisions.
Every blessing ignored, thus, becomes a curse.
Everything will settle down, everything will be peaceful again
Until you do not come to your normal self.
