And Death Seems The Only Way Out Poem by Hannah Barham

And Death Seems The Only Way Out

Rating: 5.0

And death seems the only way out
When hope fades
And life is hard to bear;
The razor is the only friend,
The pool of water,
The utter destruction.

And death seems the only way out
When love leaves
And despair rules the moment;
The mound of drugs,
The knife's kiss,
The utter destruction.

And death seems the only way out,
The single option,
The perfect escape.
Will you miss me?
Will everything change?
With utter destruction.

'And death seems the only way out'
What will you think?
Will you cry?
Will you need me?
Will love strike you like lightning?
Or creep like a destroying frost?

Nicely written. I do hope though that you're not actually feeling suicidal or felt when you wrote this poem.
