Insidious love.
That wormed it's way into my heart.
My bones, my head.
It left a seed which grew.
To spread by vein and tendon.
To nestle in my mind.
To take over and consume
as surely as a raging sea.
Then settle like warmth, as comfort.
As all the things that were unknown to me.
And I am changed by its alchemy.
By the power and purity of it.
By the flame it leaves burning inside
that shall never die.
Even after you are gone.
