And I Drowned Poem by lara solis

And I Drowned

I spoke to my mother and asked her a little sadly 'when will you go? '

So she answered me: 'whenever I have to'

And I drowned.

From the car I saw the drunk and poor, laying on the streets, so when I asked 'what happened? '

The answer I received was: 'they made their own decisions'

And I drowned.

At school I heard of a couple of girls that went to jail and when I asked ”what did they do? '

Some people answered: 'they spoke to the devil'

And I drowned.

I received the message of ”god', that my grandma had passed, I asked 'why? '

A voice answered: 'she loved'

And we all drowned.

to Mara and Luisa, to prove to them that they're not the only ones.
