And i have in my heart what i have known
And been with you in and with and around
These scenes and songs and passions which
Give to them all that come to watch sounds
Of how it is and what it is
To be and how to be and how
they have and how they haven't
and how they will and how they can
And all will be that they haven't yet
and thought that they never could
For this is what it is to be out there
Sailing with and making fictions
That they haven't yet seen
or known they knew and yet
Have known and felt and placed
Within their lives their hearts
from the minute you stepped out
on that stage to engage them
and this is why we do it albeit that we know
we nothing can and nothing have
And that at the end of this is silence only
And the aloneness of being no longer with
