...And So The Story Goes... Poem by Enriquito Lucero Jr.

...And So The Story Goes...

1
I loved you, I love you and will always love you yonder
Further my dear I will wander with me such love's wonder
Unto a dream that streams amidst the heart 'ere this all start
Seeing your being, talking 'bout loving, seeking your heart...

2
If it chimed or rhymed the beating on you I am feeling
Where my eager ear long to hear the song on your saying
About love, on my mind, be brought by a dove from above,
Set my mind to belief, the other ear deaf thru that love...

3
Do I know 'love' or not a all? Am I wise or a fool?
I love you! So I have to love you in full as a whole,
Like a journey on a stiff cliff, we slipped 'til we're on top
Every step counts, every grip counts until we're there, then stop.

4
Come hold my hand, let me know your step, I'll give you a rope,
Never fear as the journey's near, trust me... let us court hope,
I won't let go, ever, let us carve our hearts together...
Open your palm, here is mine... I'll grip it tight forever...
