And So They Spoke Poem by Jude Ogunade

And So They Spoke

'Not every smile is friendly' - Jude Ogunade

And so I spoke.
As all have hoped.
As I saw smokes,
Lingering white smoke
For a black Pope.

And so they spoke.
Don't think I dope.
Wishing a Pope,
Black like Charcoal.

All are in Robes,
Black or white Pope.
All live in Rome,
Rome is their home.

As all at pews.
So are they few.
As all who hews,
Good thoughts at dews.

When gain is done,
When thoughts are drawn,
And Rose with thorns;
Sweet sun at dawn. - Jude Adebosoye Ogunade
