The way your eyes glistened in the sun,
The way you smiled, your soul burned through mine,
The way time stood still everytime,
The way my heart calls out to you even now,
After all that has been said and done,
Your the one I can't forget.

The night our eyes met, I knew you were dying,
Our souls touched, and I knew our love was true,
I couldn't say though, you had to figure that out for yourself,
Let things unfold naturally,
through all the smiles, the tears, the laughter,
the cross words, I'm still here,
I just hide what I feel,
Put a lid on my feelings,
Cause how could we be,
when we are so close, yet so far apart.
But the closest you are is in my heart,
And that is where you'll always stay.
