Andrew (Aladin) Reid Poem by Emily Reid

Andrew (Aladin) Reid

Rating: 4.5

The time has come I think you know
The Lord is calling so you must go
I love you so much; I wish it wasn't so
I wish you could stay; I don't want to go
You're the best cat a family could ever have had
So kind and gentle, never mean or mad
I'll never forget the day that we met
In dad’s shirt pocket you were set
I'll never forget you; we'll never part
You’ll forever be in my heart
I loved you and cared for you over the years
The Lord is calling now you must go
But before you go I want you to know
It always hurts to lose a friend
And I know you’ll be with me until the end

nothing can be more terrible than seeing your pet die... this piece will teach people who hate pets - how friendly people and animals can get..

I know exactly how this feels. The pain of saddness of losing a freind and family member (I consider my animals family too) is terrible to have to go through. I am sorry for your loss, I really am. (even if it happened a while ago)
