Angel Poem by Krystal Carmona

Angel

By the Sea
Mistaken as a ghost
Abandoned from birth
Mistaken as a wild thing
Who no one wishes to see
But so tender and sweet
Full of love and pain
Only letting her tears fall in the rain
wishing to be loved and held
She looks at the clouds
Praying to the Lord
wishing to be noticed and heard
Off into the distance she looks
And notices a shadow
Beckoning her to follow
Off she wonders without thinking
There before her stands a beautiful angel
calling out to her
She has no fear
she smiles as she drops a single tear
She walks into his outstretched arms
Finally away from all harm.
