Angel's Fly Poem by Ariel Geer

Angel's Fly

One knee falls as the other repeats
No longer can I withstand these two feet
My life has taken its change somehow
I know I've strayed from you, but at this moment.. not now
I'll put my hands together and wait for you to say
'I'm glad you came to me child, its always time to pray'
I promise you that I am ready to let go
Yet you whisper, ' only in you the strength will show'
My head rests on your Holly Chest and I am overwhelmed by your Greatness
Eyes lined from life long years of pain and frustration begin to flow
Your arms wrap around me.. finally you say 'Now my child you can let go'
I smile and continue to fill my heart of you as we are reaching the sky
I know that you will always be here because in the end you promised me only Angels can fly.
