Angel's Wings Poem by Clayton Anderson

Angel's Wings

Underneath a moonlit sky,
An Angel did so catch my eye;
That my heart did begin to beatin,
And I could feel my body weaken;
Her flowing hair like satin thread,
Her gaze burned deeply in my head;
If up to me all I would do,
Is stand and stare and look at you;
To watch your eyes like crystals shine,
To cause my soul to wish you mine;
With gentle arms I’d hold you close,
I’d show you what you want the most;
Just to feel your skin on mine,
To smell your scent like sweetened wine;
The truth behind these simple things,
I lie dearly by her wings;
I know I could fulfill her wish,
If she would grant ME, that one kiss.
